We brought the washer for our new home. The load and go feature has been a great benefit. With kids just learning to wash clothes we wasted a lot of detergent but now we have reduced the amount we use. Plus our old washers took much longer to complete a wash cycle. My wife indicated that it's cut the laundry time down by half and with 5 of us that's a lot of laundry. My son has even brought his friends over to show them "his" washer lol.

This machine was referred to by the Whirlpool operator as "sensitive and twitchy" when I called about the broken 2 month old washer. The control panel is not working. The appointment set up by the Whirlpool operator for repairs was not the same date conveyed to the repair company. After waiting several hours, I called them only to discover that they had set up the appointment for the following week and had given me the wrong date. Not only is the machine a disaster but their customer service is deplorable.

My old LG died and American Home Shield replaced it with this Whirpool with Load & Go. I love it! I was even able to stuff an Eastern king size comforter in it which would not fit in my LG. It actually got clean! My clothes are much cleaner in this washer than my LG ever got them. The Load & Go feature is perfect for keeping you from putting too much detergent in the wash. You don't need much with a front load and this feature which weighs the load and puts the right amount in the tub is fantastic. I LOVE WHIRLPOOL!

I bought this because it was made in the US. It is okay. My main concern is with the pedestal. The drawer is difficult to open and sometimes will not remain closed. My previous pedestal also had a top container for dryer sheets or smaller items.

When my other brand washer failed for the second time I knew was time to replace. I was thinking go with the low end model because I am a household of one. Once at my local appliance dealer the so called low end, no name brands were not that much less for a lot less features and size. Having other Whirlpool appliances that have been dependable I went with this model. Delivered that same day I have given it a work out! Three weeks and still finding all the wonderful features it offers. Would recommend value for a great price

Had it delivered a month after I bought it. It took for ever. After delivery and installation I can't close the laundry room door because the door on the washer sticks out an inch. Measure carefully before buying specially if your Landry room is enclosed.

We bought our Whirlpool machine a few weeks ago. Love that it handles such a large load that I only have to wash twice a week. The various audio sounds make me feel like I have little elven laundry helpers. The machine has been easy to use. Figuring out the various buttons is pretty intuitive. A good addition to our home.

I was frustrated with "unbalanced" loads in my prior top loader which prompted my first Whirlpool purchase. Love it! The load and go feature I will never live with now! Less wasted detergent and just one less step always makes like easier. No balance problems with heavy bulky loads.
Hey just wish I didn't have to worry about gasket smell, which I do not have but wipe the gasket after every load to avoid it.

Have had this one 3 weeks now and it's excellent. It lacks an interior light like the Whirlpool Duet unit this replaces and the dark door makes it hard to see inside, but so far that is the biggest complaint. Load & Go is a feature that you might not think much of until you have it for a while - then it is hard to imagine having had to put detergent in for every load - 'indispensable'! Some ratings may move up in time - can't judge well after only 3 weeks. Competitive price, but all are high.

I bought this and it's companion dryer to stack and replace an older "apartment sized" stacked unit. Floor footprint was almost the same... these are a little deeper and stick out from the wall a little further. Additional capacity well worth it!!

I bought a different model of washer a year ago, and have had nothing but problems with it! I had the inside of the washer replaced 6 months after purchasing it, only to have the same problem a few months later.
Finally, Whirlpool decided to replace my washer with this model. In the process of replacing my washer, the installers gouged my floors. Two weeks after this washer was replaced, the seal on this washer came off during a washing cycle and I had water EVERYWHERE!
I now have a gouged floor from the previous washer and swallow stained trim from this washer. There is no excuse for this! I have wasted too much time calling whirlpool, waiting on service workers and getting estimates to fix my laundry room and I have to do it all again, just two weeks after receiving a new machine. My time is more valuable, and Whirlpools products don't value my time.
Would you like to hear about the problems with the dryer . . . oh yeah, the dryer is the same quality as the two washers I have had from Whirlpool.
